The business has been built around a strategically mapped supply chain, in order to provide our customers with a consistency of seamless supply options, both locally and abroad. It’s a critical component of our focus on delivering service excellence, along with a broad spectrum of traditional products mixed with innovations. Whether it be smaller bespoke or large-scale made-to-order architectural projects, Perftech has put in place a number of measures to ensure we deliver on this promise.
A one-stop-shop solution
Perftech covers almost any need that might arise for perforated metals. These supplier relationships are supported by tightly defined Service Level Agreements, which ensure we can maintain the service that is expected in the New Zealand marketplace. Perftech is the only dedicated perforated metals supplier that can manufacture the three core perforated products locally and abroad. This means you will only need one point of contact to provide all your perforated metal requirements.
Depth of product and industry knowledge
Perftech founder Matt Burns has over 15-years of hands-on experience in the industrial and architectural metals industry in the corporate sector. Matt’s knowledge of the market and experience, combined with Perftech’s range of products and supply options, means Perftech can source the right solution for your project or your ongoing needs. Matt understands that a “one size fits all” approach to servicing businesses in New Zealand can be limiting whilst also recognising the importance and need for robust internal process & systems to be in place when required.
Manufactured in New Zealand
Perftech is the only company dedicated to the perforated metals industry that sources materials both locally and offshore. Manufacturing locally allows Perftech to manage quality control and faster turnarounds, it gives the designers, architects, and builders peace of mind, knowing that no matter what happens outside of New Zealand, Perftech will be able to supply the product they need to complete tight deadlines in the different regions of New Zealand.
World-leading solutions
Perftech is proud to supply the majority of our range from the New Zealand manufacturing plants. Perftech’s team has also developed strong relationships with some of the world’s leading suppliers in the perforated metal industry. This means that no matter what your requirement, we can find the solution you need. Our overseas suppliers are well equipped with advanced innovative technology, supplying products manufactured to both the British & US standard specifications. Therefore stakeholders in projects can be comfortable knowing that these suppliers have quality product and ISO9001 accredited with equipment in place to fulfill orders on time and in specification.
Ability to scale production
Our customer’s delivery and order requirements can vary so we are regularly in discussion with our partnered factories to organise additional capacity or special requirements when required. We have weeekly S&Op meetings so the teams are communicating stock levels from the despatcher through to the sales team.
Agile Supply Offer
Perftech’s stocked product is punched and processed in New Zealand with a German made TRUMPH Turret Punch, we also import some sections to remain competitive. Perftech’s sub contractor has access to a press-break up to 6000 mm long sheet. We have a trailer unit for deliveries around the Auckland Region as well as deliveries down the line when product is needed quickly. Perftech strive to be a user friendly business and nimble when action is needed.
Powder Coating
Perftech has collaborated in marketing with global leader in the metal surface finishing industry, Interpon® of Akzo Nobel and proudly promote the 25-year warranty on all of its pre-treated powder-coated perforated and expanded mesh products. Metal Fabrication & International Supply Chain
We offer a wide range of value-added fabrication services including punching, folding, laser cutting, & welding, CNC machining, etching, metal plate processing, surface finishing at competitive very rates. We also have access to one of the largest press breaks in New Zealand at 6000mm and a perforated coil punch in New Zealand and Asia. Manufacturing from these coils reduces costs on stocked products and larger bespoke orders.
